Source on gitlawb. On Apple Silicon, install.sh uses the prebuilt dist binary when present — seconds, not a full compile. Elsewhere, cargo builds from source.

git clone the node URL, cd koyal, ./install.sh — lands in ~/.koyal/bin.

dist/bin/aarch64-apple-darwin/koyal ships in-repo for fast installs.

koyal doctor confirms binary, stores, and gateway reachability.

Gateway + QR

koyal gateway --show-qr and koyal connect pair the mobile app in one card.
